Paper Submission Rules

1. (1) Manuscripts are accepted by the Society from time to time. The Society has no obligation to return the received manuscript.
(2) Submission of this provision may be changed by the society’s circumstances.
02. Categorization
(1) Submitted paper will be categorized into regular, urgent, and invited paper.
(2) The paper is a systematic synthesis of original theories, experiments, new design methods or production data in the field of acoustics and already published theories, and it has not been published in domestic and overseas publications. Urgent papers should be limited to six pages or less based on the printed page.
(3) Regular papers and urgent papers must go through the review process specified by the editorial Board. The editorial board shall decide on the revision order and the adoption.
(4) In principle, invited papers must be submitted by the editor-in-chief through the editorial board.
03. Method
(1) The paper shall be submitted using a word processor (limited to HWP or MS Word), and shall be registered in the form of the published sample paper.
04. Review
(1) The paper submitted with the editorial fee (see Section 12) will be approved by the editorial board after the review process specified by the Society.
(2) In case of urgent article, total process of paper application, review and final decision of publication has to be finalized in 7 weeks.
05. Re-posting
If you do not re-submit the paper within six months after the date of modification requirement, the warning is given to the author, and if it is not re-submitted within three months after their Paper, publication will be automatically cancelled.
06. Language
(1) Use Korean and English as the official language.
(2) In case of using Korean, Hangul spelling shall be written in accordance with the Korean language standard notation of the National Korean Language Institute, in accordance with the international academic language notation when using English.
07. Forms
(1) Write articles in order of cover, abstract, body, reference, table description, table, picture description, picture, and page number.
(2) For both Korean and English paper, write title, author, summary in both Korean and English, and for the table description, picture description list is indicated only in English.
(3) The original words such as name of a person or a place are indicated in the original language.
(4) In order to communicate with the author of the paper, contact information such as address, telephone, Fax Number, E-mail address shall be stated in English.
08. Summary
(1) In the abstract, only the title without author and affiliation is indicated.
(2) The summary should be less than 400 words for Korean and 250 words for English.
(3) Refer to the article numbers listed at the end of the January and July issue of this journal and list one or more classification numbers that are appropriate for the article submission at the end of the summary.
(4) The key words (keywords) should be 4 to 7 words, followed by the categorization number, in both Korean / English words.
09. Reference
(1) References will be written as numbered in the order cited in square brackets [ ] with Arabic numerals.
(2) the documents cited are listed as collected at the end of the body.
(3) In case of periodicals, write in quotation numbers, author names, titles, magazine names, volumes, pages, and years. In the case of a monograph, list the quotation number, author name, book name, publisher, publication name, and year of publication. Here is an example of a reference:

10. Table
(1) Table shows the location in the body, and create one per one side separately from the body.
(2) A list of table titles or descriptions should be written in English separately.
(3) The explanations and notations in the table are to be written in English except for special characters according to the peculiarity of the paper (for example, special cases such as dealing with Hangul).
11. Figure
(1) The figure shows its position in the text as Fig. 1, Fig. 2, and so on.
(2) The title of figure or list of descriptions should be written in English as well.
(3) The figure should be written one by one, separate from the main text. Figure is basically in black-and-white color, based on monochrome print.
(4) In case of submission of a color figure due to the nature of the paper, if the author proves that it can be distinguished from monochrome printing, the original color shall be allowed. If color printing is unavoidable, the requirements of 15 (3) shall be followed.
(5) Letters or numbers in the figure should be marked with a size that is sufficiently discernible, taking into account the case where the whole picture is reduced.
(6) Explanations and notations in the figure should be written in English except for special characters according to the peculiarity of the thesis (e.g. special cases such as dealing with Hangul phonemes).
(7) In case of successive figures, mark as Figs. 1 and 2, for example.
12. Equation
(1) The formulas should be numbered only at the right end of the formula in the order shown in (1) and (2).
(2) When describing the formula in the text, describe with formula number as Eq. (1), and when it is necessary to mark them together continuously, mark as Eqs. (1) and (2), for example.
13. Unit and physical quantity notation
(1) The unit mark shall be the SI unit in principle.
(2) The units shall conform to the unit notation in accordance with KSA 0001 and KSA ISO 80000-1.
14. Calibration
(1) When a paper is adopted, the editor-in-chief may notify the author and request revision of the paper as necessary.
(2) In calibration, recalibration shall be based on what the author sees, but the manuscript can not be revised at this time. In the unlikely event that a significant amount of corrections are inevitable, the costs incurred should be borne by the author.
(3) The author submits manuscripts, drawings, and biographies that were finally adopted after the revision as a final paper to the web submission.
(4) Authors can not be added after submission.
15.Publication fee
(1) Publication fee must be paid on the paper approval, and therefore the author is provided with 30 pcs of extra print. However, you must apply for extra print order other than those specified format at re-edit stage, and the cost should be covered by the author. Publication fee and extra printing fee is subject to regulations set forth in the Society.
(2) Publication fee is paid by the printed number of pages, regular paper in 3 pages and urgent paper in 3 pages. There is additional publication fee for the additional pages other than suggested.
(3) Full-text xml Conversion costs and photographs are inevitably used for publication, and authors are responsible for the cost of color printing.
16. Copyright
Copyright and intellectual property rights of the papers published in this journal belong to the Society, and the author of the papers should mention the transfer of these rights at the time of submission.
17. Publication
The Journal is published on the last day of each January, March, May, July, September and November each year.
